    • Work only on grout that is whole, and fill cracks first, since the coating will not rebuild missing joints.
    • Coat a small test section first so you can judge the white against your tile before doing the whole wall.

    How to use

    1. Step 1Clean the grout and tile, rinse, and let everything dry before you start.
    2. Step 2Run the applicator tip along each grout line, laying down an even coat.
    3. Step 3Let the coating dry on the lines as the label directs.
    4. Step 4Wipe the excess off the face of the tile once the coating has dried.

Homax Tile Guard Grout Coating is a white latex coating that you run along the grout lines to bring the color back, so you can skip digging out and replacing the grout. One 4.3 oz applicator handles up to 75 square feet of grouted tile.

    You can use it in showers, on countertops, on floors and on walls. Apply it to the lines, give it time to dry, then wipe the excess off the tile faces. Keep in mind that it is a coating, not a repair: cracked or missing grout still needs regrouting first. The label rules out unglazed tile, slate and concrete block.
