    About this product

Re-texturing whole walls from a small compressor

When a remodel means texturing entire walls or a ceiling, aerosol cans run out fast. The Homax Pneumatic Texture Gun is a hopper gun with a 3 liter hopper that works from a compressor of 3/4 hp or larger. Homax premixed textures snap straight onto the gun, which saves you a mixing step and a bucket to wash.

The gun sprays a range of patterns and texture materials, and it is light, which matters when you spray a ceiling. It also works with HVLP equipment. That range lets you use the same tool for a whole-house job or a single patched wall. Expect to spend time masking and cleaning, as with any texture gun.

    Before you start

An aerosol texture can is under pressure and its propellant burns: keep it away from open flame and heat while you spray, air the room, and do not leave a can in a hot car or a sunny window. Sanding the patch first raises fine dust, so wear a dust mask and catch it on a drop cloth.
